Meteorology A | STMKG Batch 2018

Identity

We are a family consisting of 30 Taruna and Taruni. We represent the Meteorology A class of STMKG 2018 and are a proud part of @atmajakarsa, the collective gathering of the STMKG 2018 batch.

After completing our studies in 2022, we have transitioned into professional roles as civil servants (PNS) within the Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG).

The Philosophy

The name Metamorforza combines our scientific evolution with our collective spirit:

METAMOR (Metamorphosis) This represents our transformation from students into seasoned meteorologists and technical professionals. It reflects our ongoing growth within the field of atmospheric science.

FORZA (Force / Strength) Derived from the Italian word for power. It signifies the unstoppable momentum and unity of our 30 members as we serve across Indonesia.

Symbolism of the Red Dragon

The red dragon in our logo represents our command over the elements we study:

Guardians of the Atmosphere: Like the dragon of legend, we monitor and interpret the powerful forces of nature.
Passion and Vitality: The crimson texture represents the energy we bring to our duties at BMKG.
Technical Precision: The sharp design mirrors the accuracy required for high-level weather forecasting and analysis.
